The Association of Municipalities of Tarija (AMT) and Environmental Protection Tarija (Prometa) signed this February 8, in the offices of the AMT, an inter-institutional agreement to carry out joint actions for the benefit of both organizations in order to promote development actions for the benefit of the municipalities and the department of Tarija.
The Executive Director of the AMT, Mr. Bartolomé López and the Executive Director of Prometa, Mr. Rodrigo Ayala Bluske, who signed the agreement, pointed out that from this signature a joint work plan will be developed to prioritize issues such as municipal planning, climate change, community economic development and others, prioritized by the municipalities that are members of the AMT.
The agreement, which has a duration of three years, formalizes the collaboration that already existed between the entities and the municipalities that belong to the AMT.
